Enjoy a Piece of Country Heaven at Welsh Run Farm

Welcome to Welsh Run! We would like to share our smoke free special 18 acres with you. You will enjoy a separate entrance into our basement apartment with plenty of space for two! Fully equipped kitchen including a gas cook top, microwave, dishwasher, and single cup coffee pot. Comfortable dining, plenty of sitting space with TV, Roku, and wifi. Lovely queen sized bed, full bath with shower stall. Take the time to relax with a cup of coffee on your private patio enjoying the views . Your space is a basement apartment with access to a porch and backyard. We do our very best to keep the outdoor space neat and tidy, the deer and other animals from the woods that surround us like to enjoy the space as well. We also run a boarding facility, so walk around and meet our horses. If you like cats, we have those also. Unfortunately the cats might bring you the catch of the day. Although we are located 5 minutes from anything you will need, we are in the country. There are no street lights. We do have a sign at the end of the driveway and the mailbox has our house number on it. There should be no problems with GPS helping you arrive. We are always available by phone for anything you may need. Otherwise, we will let you enjoy your stay with no interference. We are 5 minutes from everything! Grocery store, bank, dry cleaners, gas station, and a variety of restaurants. Need a Wal Mart or Lowes, right around the corner. If you want to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, we are a short 20 minutes away. We are an easy 15 minute drive to the Charlottesvile/Albemarle Airport. Only a 10 minute drive to Preddy Creek Trail Park, a 571 acre biking, hiking, and riding park. We are a 20 minute drive to Shenadoah National Park. If you would like to drive into Charlottesville, it is a short drive up Rt. 29. With this being a basement space, sometimes it will smell a bit musty. We assure you it is cleaned and sanitized after every guest. When guests leave food after their stay, we do leave it for the next guests. If you are uncomfortable with this, you are more than welcome to put it in the garbage.
