The Gingerbread House is a perfectly renovated home in the amazing mountain art village of Jerome, Arizona. You have a well stocked kitchen with basic food supplies and private outdoor spaces. Self check in makes it easy for no contact. Our cleaning team is also going the extra mile by disinfecting all surfaces, using bleach in laundry and airing out the entire house between guests. No need to bring water as we have an RO filter. Bring your own ice if you need or the Paul and Jerry's bar sells bags of ice for $3. Absolutely No-smoking anywhere on the property. If you smoke, you must exit the gate. We do not accept pets. We would love to, but had to change that rule. We are on property, so please abide my these rules. Downstairs features a wine tasting room and art space, " Vino Zona, " while upstairs is a charming home complete with everything you will need for a weekend, a week or even a month. The lovely kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, toaster oven, filtered water and more is complimented by beautiful cabinets, storage and stools by the tiled counter. The large picture window looks onto an incredible VIEW of Sedona. The bath features a cultured marble tub and sink with lovely lighting. Two queen beds with vintage furniture are the perfect retreat. Washer and dryer in the foyer by the bedrooms is quite convenient. Located just 25 miles from Sedona, this location is perfect as a headquarters for great adventures. If you have work to do, why not do it from a mile high perch overlooking Sedona! We have a nice office space with a desk and shelving plus office chairs and complimentary WiFi. There is much interesting history in this charming mile high gem. The entire town is on the National Historic Registry and The Kelly House is individually listed, as well. Because of this, the character of the town is unique and well protected. Today, the 400 residents welcome not only history buffs but art lovers to over 30 galleries and studios. Galleries Galore: First Saturday Art Walk in Jerome was selected by The Arizona Republic as #1 weekend getaway. Stroll the streets and stop in galleries for live music, refreshments and fabulous art. The restaurants in Jerome are superb. You cannot get a bad meal here! The Jerome Historical Society presents Ghost Walk the second weekend of October. The Halloween Ball is one of the best costume parties in the USA and is put on by the Jerome Volunteer Fire Department. Sedona Film Festival is every February. Jerome's popular Historic Home Tour is on the third weekend in May. Currently there is no grocery store or general store in Jerome so stop for supplies in nearby Cottonwood. We are within walking distance of restaurants, wineries, galleries and more! There is a private parking space dedicated to the Gingerbread House! We will make sure you are aware of where that is before arrival.
