This peaceful home is only 1 hour from NYC. A large living area + a play room, 2 bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom, POOL, a wood burning FIREPLACE, covered porch with a GRILL, huge DECK, large TRAMPOLINE, and yard with babbling brook! Bedroom 1: King size bed. Ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2: King size bed and sleeper couch (sleeps 2). Ensuite bathroom. Living room: Pull out couch (sleeps 2). The whole main floor of the house is yours and you will be the only one on the property. There is a room we use for storage off of the porch, and a basement that only has mechanicals and I ask that you stay out of that area (it is pretty scary down there). I'm available by email and phone anytime! There are plenty of places nearby to eat and to order from. It's a quiet area, things close early so make sure you plan ahead! Turkey Mountain Nature preserve is across the street, and the North Country Trailway runs behind the house- perfect for walking, running, and biking! Blue Mountain is about 20 minutes away. Great area for seeing the beautiful fall leaves, hiking, with close proximity to Cold Spring and Beacon! Lots of local farms and other walking in the woods opportunities. There are movie theaters within a 20 -30 minutes drive, plenty of local restaurants, and even a great massage place called Lily Spa! Chappaqua and Croton Harman train stations are about 15 minutes away by car. You can take a cab from the train station, or bike! There are 2 driveways at the house, one that fits 2 cars, and one that fits 3 cars. The price and cleaning fee are non negotiable. Please do not attempt to negotiate the price or cleaning fee. We are on a well, so please be mindful of this when using the water. Don't use all showers at once! We are also on a septic tank, so please only put toilet paper down the toilet. If you need something specific for cooking please bring it. Oils, spices, food, and drinks are NOT included with this rental. There are a number of nearby grocery stores. The kitchen is stocked with plates, cups, silverware, pots and pans, cutting boards, knives, drip coffee machine, toaster oven, slow cooker, nutribullet, food processor. This is an old house, which I think gives it its charm! It's incredibly cozy and perfectly wonderful for a few days away, but it has its quirks! 2 night minimum. NO PETS ALLOWED. Absolutely no exceptions. your entire security deposit will be kept if a pet if brought onto the property. PARTIES AND EVENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED. This is my home, and I expect you to treat it with respect. If I find evidence that there were more people than agreed to, or that an event or party took place, I reserve the right to withhold your security deposit. There are outdoor security cameras protecting all entrances to the home, as well as the pool. I have remote access to these cameras. Only those registered guests are allowed on the property. Extra guests will be considered for a fee of $30/guest. Early check in and late check out is available for a fee of $250. ** Due to Airbnb's policy of blocking guests full names, photos and reviews before the reservation is confirmed, I will be asking for full names and ages of guests in order to try to get an understanding of the guests. **
