Most of the Rosario Resort Community condos are privately owned but rented through Rosario Resort. I have chosen to make mine available privately because I adore my private getaway and prefer lower volume and trusted guests to the general pool of hotel guests. You will find here a home away from home and as much (or as little) privacy as you desire. Have dinner at the fabulous Rosario restaurant(s), linger for drinks at the bar, and stroll home in less than five minutes. Amble down to the bay in the morning and join a whale watch, rent a kayak, or book a sail. With the purchase of a day pass, you can access all of the Rosario Resort facilities: indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, fitness room, etc.. If hiking or biking is your pleasure, the path to Moran State Park and Cascade Lake is literally steps from your door. The park has miles of trails ready to be explored. It was no surprise to to me to learn that Travel and Leisure Magazine rated Orcas Island as a "Top North American Island Destination." Come explore this beautiful place. Since your rental is entirely separate from the rest of my condo you will have as much (or as little) privacy as you desire. In addition, the outside stairway that services my condo is private. No other public will be passing your door. I live here full time at the resort community and will be happy to assist you in any way I can. Since this is a Resort Community you can be assured of a quiet getaway with all sorts of amenities within easy walking distance, Free on-site parking. Note: There is NO public transportation on the island. However, here on the Rosario Resort Grounds there are all sorts of recreation activities available within walking distance including excellent dining facilities. **Covid-19 update, currently ONE excellent, entirely outdoor, dining facility. **COVID update: There is (minimum) 72 hour break in between your visit and the previous guest(s). We pride ourselves on a high standard of cleanliness normally, but have added this touch based on the best available science to date.
