The Moorlin

A newly-remodeled farmhouse inspired home that is perfect for any stay; whether it's a wedding, family reunion, work-related trip, or just a simple getaway, The Moorlin is the ideal spot. Located in downtown Pikeville, it's a short walk to several restaurants and shops and approximately twelve miles to Fall Creek Falls State Park. With a florist next door, fresh flowers can be delivered at your door with just a call away. The Moorlin features a master bedroom with a private bathroom and walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a queen bed and shares a full bathroom with the third bedroom of two twin beds. The full kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher. In the kitchen, we stock goodies and provide bottled water and juice; we also have a separate space for a coffee bar to ensure the perfect brew. The open-concept living space has satellite television and plenty of room for families to gather. In the dining area, there is a unique space behind the custom-made, sliding barn doors: a washer and dryer, free of charge. The Moorlin has three separate outdoor sitting areas: the front porch, small deck off the third bedroom, and a deck off of the dining area. There is a new charcoal grill, stone fire pit, and outdoor seating for entertainment and comfort. If you have any questions about these amenities, please let me know! Guests are open to the entire space, we just ask that you use the bedrooms per amount of persons. This is a new adventure for our family! The Moorlin was a project that we took on and have enjoyed throughout the journey. We love our small town and hope that guests will see the beauty and charm, whether it's shopping at the local farmer's market on a Saturday morning or sitting on the front porch enjoying a cup of coffee. The Moorlin is located on a main throughway street from the highway 127, it is convenient to get to and close to all grocery stores, gas stations, shops, and restaurants in our small town. Parking is available in the private driveway located next to the house.
