One of Sewanee's first 50 houses built in 1872. Comfortable private room with wing-back reading chair, writing desk, double bed, 100% cotton linens, down comforter, and pillows. The bedroom is on the second floor. Central campus location makes this a perfect location for your stay. Available to alumni, parents and other guests of the University of the South. Our large, rap-around front porch is a great place to sit and chat, read, or take a nap. We are happy to share the kitchen and all the rest of house for your comfort. Books from our library are available as well as WIFI for your electronics. We love our guests but we also know you may want privacy. We will be here for anything you need. Let us know what you need and what we can do to make this a perfect visit. We are right in the middle of one of the most beautiful college campuses in the country. The University of the South has consistently ranked in the top few for beauty, walkability, hiking, and biking. Come enjoy the 13,000 acre Domain! There is no public transit, but this is an easy place to walk. We can offer a ride if needed. All of our guest rooms are on the second floor. We have an accessible powder room on the first floor.
