Cottage with Character

A cozy, two bedroom getaway. A quiet retreat and an easy walk into Three Oaks town. The house is also a close driving or biking distance to nearby attractions in Harbor Country. A great place to relax and explore Harbor Country's finest. The house has lots of charm and character and offers many comforts for guests hoping to relax and feel at home. Equipped with wood built ins and a large, fenced-in yard with deck space and shady or sunny seating areas, full size kitchen with toaster, microwave, and coffeemaker. There is also a comfortable living room that is open to a cozy, charming dining room. Two bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed, the other a full sized bed. Couch also folds out to a full size bed, if needed. Guests have access to the entire house, deck and yard. House has beach towels, a sheet for use at the beach as a beach blanket, a small cooler, and two beach chairs. There is a lovely outdoor table for dining and relaxing on the deck with an umbrella and four Adirondack chairs for sitting out in the yard. We live in Chicago so guests will have autonomy in our house but we will be accessible by phone in case guests need any assistance. We are happy to recommend area restaurants and entertainment for guests as well. There is also a book in the house with area recommendations that we created for your convenience. Three Oaks is a quiet town but has so much to offer by way of dining and entertainment as well. There are two theaters in town as well as a popular distillery/restaurant, and several other places to enjoy a nice meal, ice cream, or baked goods. We love being able to walk into town. The public beaches that are easiest to access (New Buffalo beach and Warren Dunes State Park) are each about 15 minutes away by car. No public transit, though it is possible to take an Amtrak to the area (New Buffalo) and rent bicycles in Three Oaks if desired.
