The Schroon Lake Association vigilantly protects the lake from invasive species that have harmed other areas. The art-deco Strand Theatre has state-of-the art projectors, reasonable prices, and no previews! New movies start every Friday. Square dancing in the park on Wednesday, kid-friendly play area at the public beach and frequent special events on the weekends make Schroon as lively as you want to be.
