Private Bed & Euro Bath in American Glass Museum

An ideal retreat for an antique collector or anyone just looking for a great central location to stay while visiting the Metro Detroit area. Private bedroom with your own attached private bath that features a European shower. Minutes from Ikea and other attractions. 15-20 minutes from the airport (DTW). 25-30 minutes to Detroit or Ann Arbor. LGBT friendly. You will be staying in the master bedroom of our 1,800 square foot condo. The bedroom (located up one flight of stairs) features a Nectar memory foam mattress. Your attached private bathroom with European shower and marble floors was completely renovated in June of 2018. Your bedroom also features a lovely display of vintage glassware. In addition to your private bed and bath, you will also have access to: •A comfortable living room with fireplace and display cabinets filled with glass, along with an upright piano. •Kitchen (decorated with Pyrex and Jadeite) - feel free to stash food in the fridge, reheat things in the microwave, etc. Since COVID, I no longer supply coffee or tea, but feel free to use your own. Because of prior issues with cleaning up, please inquire if you require use of the kitchen to cook. •Laundry room with washer and dryer •Outdoor deck overlooking a golf course •Finished basement with 65" LED television to watch movies or steam Amazon Prime or Netflix. While I have an antenna to access basic channels, cable TV is not available. As pictured, there is also an office if you need a desk to work from. But please coordinate with me in advance if this is a room you will need. Since we are both working from home several days a week, it may not be available for use. While we try to make ourselves available at check-in, if our schedules do not align, a lock box for the front door with keys is available. I'm happy to provide you with area information and anything else you need to make your stay pleasant. If you want evening conversation after a day out, great, or you can keep to yourself. Whatever you prefer. The condo complex is very quiet and is situated along a golf course and nature preserve. Less than 5 minutes from Ikea - the only one in Michigan. Many other major retailers are located on Ford Road as well. Lots of area restaurants within a few minutes drive, though they are mostly chains. You'll need to drive 10-15 minutes to other neighborhoods for more unique dining establishments. You will love downtown Plymouth or Northville. I'm about a 15-20 minute drive from DTW airport. Close, but the flight paths don't go over me, so very quiet. Other transit options include Amtrak in either Dearborn or Ann Arbor. The home is occupied by myself, my fiancé Kevin, and two friendly short-hair cats. Absolutely no smoking is allowed in the home, or on the premises. No other pets are welcome.
