Private entrance, 1,000 sq ft loft apartment over looking the Maitland River. Golfing, hiking trails/biking, fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, shopping, theatre, museum, Saturday farmers market, beaches, great restaurants, local breweries and wineries. Many local festivals and events throughout the summer months. Two beautiful beach areas, only 5 minutes away. 5 golf courses within five to twenty minutes. Local YMCA (pool). Snow shoeing, X cross country skiing, outdoor pubic ice skating. Comfortable, relaxing and quiet, property nestled along the Maitland River, in a natural setting. One large bed room with queen bed and one queen bed in living area, air conditioned, TV and Wifi. Ample Parking. Not suitable for young children *** Price per night is $200 for two guests with a two night minimum stay, more than 2 guests is $50 extra per person/ per night to a maximum of 4 guests in total. Great hiking trails, sunsets, the beach and harbour, the historic downtown square and Court House Park. Discover Culbert's bakery, Steve and Mary's restaurant (smoke meat sandwiches), The Park House (restaurant/pub), The Beach Street Station ( restaurant/pub at the beach), West Street Willy's restaurant, Paddy O'Neils restaurant/pub, fine dining at Thyme on 21 and Part 11 Bistro, Square Brew Brewery, Cowbell Brewery (Blyth Ont) and enjoy the nightly sunsets with of the Piping down the sun. Farmers Market each Saturday morning on the Square. Enjoy BIA concert series in Court House Park, Tiger Dunlop tomb (founding father of the Port of Goderich Ont), downtown cultural events and music festivals such as Arts and Craft Festival, Children's Festival, Celtic Festival, Kinsmen Summer Festival and famous West Coast Blues Festival. Nearby, the rail trail, ( Goderich to Guelph) great hiking and cycling trail. Fishing, swimming, Kayak/canoeing in our back yard on the Maitland River. Celtic Festival in August, West Coast Blues Festival over Labour Day weekend. Cab service is available but no other public transportation. Try your hand at driving around the square, remember it's one-way. Many Hiking trails close by. Try the Historical Heritage Trail and hike across the CPR train bridge for a panoramic view of the Maitland River and Goderich Harbour, great view for sunsets. Not suitable for young children or people with mobility issues.
