Carriage House Farm

The Carriage House Farm is located on the Cumberland Plateau, surrounded by the South Cumberland State Park system. We are within minutes of Fiery Gizzard, Stone Door, Greeter Falls. the Mountain Goat Trail and Bluegrass Underground. The Carriage House is quiet and secluded and offers walking trails, bluff views, some farm animals and a duck pond on the property. We are new to AirbnBb but but have been in service for 6 years. In spring and summer come and enjoy the butterfly garden and the flowers that attract them. In fall, the changing leaves are gorgeous on the bluff. Whatever the season the ducks are always ready for some bread and the donkeys love carrots and pets. The Carriage House is a completely furnished cottage. Guests are welcome to walk the property and enjoy the animals. Some guests want privacy while others have questions about the area. We take our cue from the guests. We are about a mile and a half from the main highway. We are at the end of Adams Rd. and there is no through traffic. We are part of a 400 acre farm on one side and the bluff on the other. It is very peaceful! One big attraction that just recently opened is Bluegrass Underground. Through the spring, summer and fall certain concerts will be taped by PBS. We are 4 miles away, as the crow flies. The scenic drive to Bluegrass Underground is about 20 minutes down the mountain. In the past many of our visitors have been University of the South alumni returning for reunions or cultural events, visisting parents, or those attending workshops.
