Unfortunately due to insurance, I am unable to offer the Kayaks and canoe at at this time. Sunrise kayak and canoe rents and will deliver. E-mail and phone will be provided in a message upon request. Bass, large and small mouth, pickerel, perch and salmon. Swimming Upstairs has two bedrooms. Downstairs has a full bath and extra sleeping area. Can accommodate additional people after discussing with owner. Pets not allowed. Owner works but is available early or late. Washington County is home to Bold Coast Trails, fishing, lobstering, whale watching, puffin tours, Sea and Sky Festival, Blueberry festival, Helen's Restaurant famous for its blueberry pies, Summer Keys in Lubec and so much more. Or, just enjoy the lake and the awesome sunsets from the large deck looking up the lake. The windows paint a picture of the lake. 8+ miles long, the lake extends from Southern Cove to Second Gardner Lake. Check for festivals as changes have been made due to Covid. App. 4 miles to Sunrise Trails access for hiking, biking, ATV or snowmobiling depending on season. Sunrise Canoe and Kayak rents paddle boards, kayaks and canoes and will deliver and pick-up watercraft at various locations. They also have trips. If you are coming at Christmas, I will set up a tree for you. Parking on site. Public transportation from Machias to Bangor. Pick up site is about 9 miles from cottage.
