Modern Apartment in Historic District

Located on Cold Spring's Main Street Historic District. From the living room you have beautiful sunset views of the Crows Nest and Storm King mountains of the Hudson River. There is a private outdoor deck in the rear of the apartment for quiet enjoyment. You can walk to the Metro North, many miles of hiking trails, the Hudson River, all of the Main Street shops and restaurants and grocery store. No car necessary. Sleeps 4 in the form of 2 queen beds. Guests enter at the separate street level entrance where there is a flight of stairs to get to the open living room area of the apartment. There are beautiful LV Wood hardwood floors throughout the space. The apartment features a Nespresso coffee maker, Bose bluetooth speaker, Meyers hand and dish soap, All-Clad pots and pans, Pendleton Woolen Mills bed linens and blankets, Artemedie lighting and designer furniture featuring Bertoia, Sarenin, Eames, Tolix and a Design Within Reach Sonno Prima Mattress. The kitchen is fully equipped for meal prep, and includes a dishwasher. There is also a washer and dryer in the apartment. This is a railroad-style apartment, where the two bedrooms are connected in a line; therefore you walk through one bedroom (second bedroom) to get to the master bedroom. The bathroom is accessed via the second bedroom. The fully furnished master bedroom has a DWR Sonno Prima queen bed, two nightstands each with a lamp, a dresser, a sitting area and french doors with privacy curtains. Access to the back deck and grill is also via the master bedroom. The second bedroom contains a memory foam mattress queen bed, dresser, and nightstand with a lamp and can be used by 2 additional guests. We are located above an upscale local bar, in an old building and noise can travel. The bar (open Wednesday - Sunday) closes between 10 pm and midnight latest (most nights 10 pm), but you might hear some music and merriment from below. If you are the type to turn in early, this may not be the place for you. We are sorry but we can't accommodate cancellations or refunds due to discomfort from any noise below. We own the barbershop and craft beer bar below (Barber and Brew), as well as the local outdoor shop (Old Souls). We are almost always around, but if we aren't, our staff at either location can help you with anything from a hair cut, shave, a great place to hike or a place to grab a bite! The Village of Cold Spring is a beautiful, unique spot that is also a nationally recognized Historic District. You can walk the picturesque Main Street to shop, eat, drink or just enjoy the view of the Hudson Highlands and Hudson River. Its a special place to stay all year round. You do not need a car to access anything in the Village of Cold Spring, including all of the shops, restaurants, bars, hiking trails and grocery store. The Metro North Railroad system (Hudson Line) provides service from NYC's Grand Central Terminal up through Peekskill, Cold Spring and Beacon ending at Poughkeepsie. From there you can take Amtrak to explore more points North. Uber is also an option in the Hudson Valley. You can also take a shuttle service to the Magazzino Italian Art Warehouse space. We do not provide off street parking but there are plenty of other options on side streets. You can park on Main Street as well, but note that between 9 am - 5 pm there is a 4 hour time limit. On weekends and holidays, parking at the train station is free (7 minute walk). There is also a pay-lot on Fair Street (5 minute walk).
