Bring your boat if you have one, a dock is available on the river canal. The area is quiet and secluded. Wildlife is everywhere you look from miniature donkeys to turkeys. There are great restaurants nearby. A binder with restaurant and grocery information is provided at the house. The St John River is called The Bass Capital of the World. I caught an 11.3 ounce bass last year! St Augustine is 50 minutes away. The beach also has a splash park and playground. You can visit the old fort area, shop at the mall, outlets, farmers markets and flea market. There's even an alligator farm. Crescent Beach is 40 minutes away and Flagler Beach is 50 minutes away.
