Lakefront slice of paradise

We are now opening our cottage again for hosting this summer!! Our lakefront 'cottage' is great for a secluded escape. 2 BR, 2Baths. Fabulous sunrises and full moons. Middle Bolton Lake is a very quiet lake (no more than 6hp). Private dead end road just 2 miles from major highways. Two hours to NYC or Boston We have two kayaks and a canoe for use of our guests. More young children have learned to kayak on our lake and LOVE IT! Large upper level cathedral ceiling master with large skylight. Fully equipped kitchen with slider to gas grill and lobster pot. Two outdoor sitting and eating areas, outdoor wood stove, beautifully landscaped grounds with quiet and shady sitting areas to read, paint and enjoy this nature wonderland. Cottage is set for romantic adult weekends, yet has all the amenities needed for you children accompanying family. There is even a 'cabin' play house for adventurous kids. This is a private home with all the solitude and privacy one desires. We are available at all times and gladly share rides on our pontoon boat. Kids of all ages love the ride around the lake with snacks, drinks or wine. As you enter Wildwood Rd, through stone columns, you will feel like you are going into the woods. The road is quiet, only residents use the dead end street. This is a very private lake with a few fisherman, kayaks and canoes, a couple of sailboats and several laid back pontoon boats. The only sounds you hear are nature, children laughing, and an occasional party across the lake that ends quietly by 10 pm. It is a real gem of tranquility. No one wants to leave. You will need a car but this hidden world is just 20 minutes to Hartford, a couple of miles to major highways and 2 hours to NYC and less to Boston. It is also 50 minutes from Mystic Seaport and Aquarium. Sleeping on the sun filled porch by the lake is a special treat. The house has two levels so another couple or children will have their own private place.
