Cabin In the Woods is an antique cypress shotgun home and over 100+ years old. It has been carefully renovated with tears of love & craftsmanship by the artist/owner. Interior decor features original artwork by the owner. Great back porch view with swing to relax and enjoy the solitude of the outdoors. Guests have full access to the Cabin In the Woods and to the surrounding property. The yard is open. Small children and pets will need to be supervised to insure their safety. The back porch is fenced in and has a toddler/pet gate availiable as a confined area. A wood stove accents the main living area and is fully functional (wood provided by owner). The hot water is always left on in the cabin. In cold weather cabin will be preheated for your comfort but there is kindling & wood if you want to make a fire in the wood stove. WIFI Cabin is 10 minutes from historic downtown St Francisville and has creek access on the property. The cabin is centrally located within easy access to plantation homes, Cat Island Nature Preserve, Tunica Falls & the Audubon Pilgrimage March18-20.
