Majestic Moose Cabin

The cabin is located behind the Mad Moose Restaurant (just look for the moose on the corner of 5th and Main Street) in beautiful Walden, Colorado. Its history includes the reintroduction of moose in nearby Gould, CO, thus boasting the title of the "Moose Capital of Colorado." Walden is the ideal location for all of your outdoor activities! The cabin has a long history of usage, including an office space, jewelry store, and was even used many, many years ago to store oil barrels as an addition to the old local gas station! The cabin has been refinished but boasts the charm and character of a building full of history. It is a one room cabin, plus full bathroom with shower, and a kitchen. Space has been thought out carefully and includes a custom-made queen sized murphy bed that folds down for comfortable sleeping. There is also couch with a queen-sized sofa bed and twin-sized air mattress. Enjoy your fresh caught trout and/or some elk steaks in the backyard on the provided BBQ grill!
