Located directly on the lake, our vintage house has it all! It is our family's lake house that we want to share with you. Many very special memories have been made & many more are waiting to happen. Home is located about 15 minutes from historic Plymouth, 20 minutes from coastline beaches, 40 minutes from the Cape Cod Canal & just 1 mile from the MBTA Halifax commuter rail station- will take you right into Boston. Or just stay put & enjoy the lake. Private water access. Steps away from the lake, our warm and cozy home is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, grill, beach towels, beach chairs, games, books, cable, apple TV, videos. The Main floor living space is open concept with a private bedroom (queen bed) and full bath on this level. 2 sliding glass doors lead out to a wrap around covered deck with tables, chairs, gas grill, seasonal patio furniture that has 180 degree stunning views of the lake. The down stairs has an additional living space and 2 beds (full and twin). There is the air hockey room/den and 3/4 bathroom. The washer/drier are also located on this level in the bathroom. There is a sliding door off the 2nd living space that leads to another outside patio with more chairs and 180 degree view of the lake. The home is not suited for children under 4. Guests have access to the entire house. Parking at the commuter rail lot is just a couple of dollars. The town is relatively small and and has a rural feel. There are no stores or restaurants within walking distance. The house is located on a narrow one car wide road. The neighborhood is quiet family friendly. The home is the last one on a dead end street & is located 20 minutes north/west of historic Plymouth, 20 minutes from Atlantic beaches, 40 minutes from Cape Cod and just 1 mile from the MBTA Halifax commuter rail station, which will take you right into Boston. Parking at the commuter rail lot is just a couple of dollars. A car is recommended. The lake is warm, clean, refreshing, spring fed fresh body of water. Great for swimming, boating and anything else water related. Water reports can be found on the town of Pembroke website- Stetson pond. All water related activities are done at your own risk. The home is in a wooded area so there is a good chance of spotting animals: frogs, deer, rabbits, snakes, variety of birds including ducks, swans, hawks, eagles. Please do not feed them, especially the ducks and swans. Please also remember, with this type of setting there are bugs: mosquitos, spiders and ticks. From the trees: pollen, leaves, twigs and pine needles. The home is not suited for children under 4.
