Nisswa beach house on pristine Lake Edward. Beautifully remodeled with updates! Has new hardwood floors, new carpets in bedrooms, entirely remodeled kitchen with new appliances and cupboards, new paint/trim/doors throughout, and new furniture, linens, smart TV's, gas fireplace, Weber gas grill, Big Green Egg charcoal grill, ping pong, games and yard games... This family friendly home is a perfect retreat with nearby trails, restaurants, spa & shopping- something for everyone! Beautiful beach house located in a cozy bay with clean, calm water and a huge yard. Sandy beach great for kids with very gradual entry- no quick dropoffs! Bouthouse full of sand toys, floaties, a canoe, 3 kayaks, a paddleboard. There is a blower for blowing up toys and a stereo. Fire pit on the beach for evening smores! The house has a large master bedroom with large master bath (shower). Very comfortable beds throughout. In the fall/winter there is an electric fireplace for added warmth and ambiance in master bedroom. Room darkening shades or curtains in every bedroom and ceiling fans. Smart TVs in every room. Living room has gas fireplace (turned on seasonally in fall & winter), smart TV and DVD player. Great stereo in dining room you can hook up your phone to. Large windows in dining room (panoramic view) and living room that overlook the yard and lake. Filtered drinking water and ice maker in refrigerator. There is also a reverse osmosis water purification system under kitchen sink; the faucet is next to regular faucet in kitchen. Yard games include: badminton, regulation size cornhole(bean bag game), croquet set, tether ball, yard Yahtzee set. *Note that dock is not guaranteed to be in after October 1st. In spring the dock is usually put in the water mid May (around fishing opener) but not guaranteed until June due to MN weather. Please contact us directly with dock questions, thanks! Motorboat and boat lift not included in rental. Guests have full access to house (excluding a couple locked closets) and a one-car attached garage. Basement with laundry and ping-pong table. Everything in boathouse and use of dock (excluding our boat and lift). There are a couple boat rental places nearby that will deliver boats and jet skis-just ask for info if wanted. Contact owners directly by phone, text, or email The house is just a quick 10 minute drive to cute downtown Nisswa where you can find gift shops, ice cream shop, restaurants. Popular dining places such as Zorbaz, Bar Harbor, and Grand View Lodge's restaurants are all also within 10 minutes. There is a Dollar General store in Merrifield (couple minute drive) that is huge and sells anything you need from groceries to clothes, baby stuff, sunscreen, toys, etc. Very convenient and is open long hours. The public access for Lake Edward is just a couple minutes away where you can put your boat in. We are just 5 minutes away from the Paul Bunyan Trail, which is a 120 mile long paved trail for biking/rollerblading in the summer and groomed for snowmobiling in the winter. Also in the winter there are more snowmobile trails that connect to Lake Edward (as shown in the map pic), great ice fishing, cross country skiing and we are 10 minutes from Ski Gull downhill ski and tubing. There are various boat/jetski rental places nearby if you want more than the canoe and kayaks we offer. We are on a dirt road off the main road, which is nice to take a walk down without the worries of traffic. No public transportation No smoking inside house, no pets, no parties.
