Your hosts at the Namaste Inn Bed & Breakfast welcome you. A charming renovated 1901 Victorian home. The Namasté Inn is located in the small town of Elizabethtown, New York in the heart of the six-million acre Adirondack Park, the largest forest preserve in the continental United States. This renovated house includes a screened back porch and a front porch on a quiet side street. Borrow a book from our extensive library. We even have a few books in French. Stroll through are garden and access a town foot path directly from our yard. A small refrigerator can be shared by all guests. Both porches are great places for quests to relax and chat. The living room with a fireplace is fantastic on chilly nights. We live on site, so can be available for your questions or point you to local favorites. Elizabethtown is home to one of the Oldest golf course in America, built in 1896, the course offers nine challenging holes among the tall pines and spectacular mountain views. The Adirondack History Museum is also in town. Elizabethtown is a short, beautiful drive to the High Peaks Region and Lake Placid. We are only a short drive from The Northway. Quick access to the High Peaks Region and beyond. The Inn is about 25-40 minutes along a beautiful drive to Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. We are 2 hours South of Montreal, and 2 hours North of Albany. We are 10 minutes from the Amtrak station in Westport. There is very limited public transportation in the area. Ask your host about Uber. We are asking that all our guests be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 prior to their stay with us. This is for the protection of our guests, your hosts, and our community. We have a very friendly dog on site. He loves to greet our guests.
