Thirty miles away from Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge. Small park, kayaking on the Kentucky River, hiking, and four wheeling trails nearby. High speed internet now available! This area called Mooretown was established by a family of brothers who purchased it in 1921. Throughout the last 99 years, the Moore family has maintained the ownership with limited exceptions. You will enjoy a little "Moore" history throughout the cottage; notorious and heartwarming. We hope you enjoy your stay. Circle driveway for easy access. Guests will be notified by email how to access the key. If available, guests will be greeted personally. Quiet family neighborhood located on the banks of the Kentucky River. SPECIAL NOTE: Our home is not a party place. This is a quiet, family neighborhood and rowdy behavior will not be tolerated. Guests will need personal transportation to travel around the area. There is no dishwasher available but guests will have coffee pot, microwave, and blender for use. The master bedroom Satellite service comes and goes. We have a portable DISH system and the bedroom receiver doesn’t always have the best reception. However, we have a pretty extensive CD collection in the living room entertainment center for your entertainment. Smart TV access in the living room is now available.
