Guest suite or mother in law bedroom. Has a private door to small covered sitting area. Scenic Mountain View. A Peaceful mountain retreat, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Keystone. On top a hill, overlooking Battle Creek and the 1880 train track, the vistas are rejuvenating. All the comforts of home, And nature in one stop. Exclusive, private and close to small town shops. Comfortable and peaceful, easy check in. National forest and resort properties surround this hill top oasis. Each cabin or room has an outdoor sitting area, table and chairs. The driveway is rather steep, the bridge and meadow along the creek is our property and open to guests. I am in and out often and give customers privacy and space, but if there is anything they need, text and I can help. Iron? Coffee cups? More towels, you bet, I will be right there. Keystone is a summer visitors center in the center of the Black Hills. The Boardwalk has flavors and visitors from all over the world. Most shops close shortly after Labor Day. Iron Mountain Road is the scenic road from Keystone to the Needles Hwy and Custer Park. Take Playhouse Rd and visit the swim beach at Center Lake. This area is all about touring as in your own favorite ride. So much scenic beauty. Perfect for folks who love to explore. We are walking distance to Keystone, just 5 minutes, or the 1880 train will take you to Hill City. Text me if you need more towels or directions or coffee cups, paper plates ect. The key may be left in the door at check out. Ideas: I often eat at Powder House on Hwy 16A just a mile away for breakfast lunch or dinner and the food is great. Pizza from Halley’s West at the Keystone “mall” is Great and so are the wings. They are near the Alpine slide and zip line course which are also a lot of fun. Custer Park via Hwy 16A is just before Mt. Rushmore and is called Iron Mt. Rd. Or Pig Tail Bridges Rd and a must experience. Stop at the top for the Norbeck Overlook for a great look at Mt Rushmore and a scenic photo-op of the Monument through the 3 different tunnels as you drive back down. This drive was a part of a James Bond movie “North by Northwest.”
