Haverstraw Hospitality Suite

Quiet & cozy suite, with a comfortable full bed & private bathroom in newly renovated garden (basement) level of a single-family home. WiFi/air conditioning & heat unit/FiOS cable - roku TV. Coffee/tea available. Loveseat turns into a twin sleeper for an extra bed. The neighborhood is quiet, and parking is available in the driveway. Feel free to come and go as you please -- we hope our guests feel like this is their home away from home:) Private-entrance space in newly renovated garden level suite. Kitchenette included with mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig, and sink. The coffee table is a lift-top table which can allow for working or dining. Loveseat has a pull out twin sleeper with memory foam mattress. Private bathroom with shower included as well. As of mid-September, (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , we will be adopting a cairn terrier puppy. The puppy will not be in the space listed, but will remain upstairs in our living space. A climate control unit in the space allows guests to control A/C, heat, dehumidifier, or fan. There are 7 stairs down from the main door into the space. Luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout. Wifi/FiOS cable - roku TV Ample parking available on private driveway -- parking is for registered guests only. Street parking is also available. Door lock operated through a key pad. We do live upstairs in the main part of the house, so there might be some noise filtering down of people talking and walking on the floors. Out of consideration for other guests staying on the property and our neighbors, quiet hours are in effect from 11 pm until 7 am. Thank you:) Guest access: suite & backyard (backyard is shared with homeowners) Please let us know ahead of time if friends will be visiting you during your stay so we can be aware of who is coming and going on our property. We live in our home full-time, and our bedrooms/bathroom are upstairs. Our guests can come home as late as needed -- we do not hear any noise while we're upstairs. We will be available to answer any questions, offer suggestions, and assist with requests during your stay, but if you'd like peace and quiet during your visit, that is fine with us, too:). Mike works from home during the week, so he is available if needed. We are out and about on weekends. You can reach us by Airbnb messaging during your stay if you need anything! If you’d like the loveseat made up for a bed, please let us know at booking. We are located in Rockland County, NY (about 35 minutes north of New York City). We are close to highways for a restful sleep during a long drive, or a great spot for an easy ride into NYC and north Jersey points. We are located within walking distance of local bus stops. Nanuet, NY train station from NYC (NJ Transit) is a 20-min car ride away. Sandy Hook Park for the beach is less than a 2 hour drive, and close to Harriman State Park for hiking, and Bear Mountain (year round hiking, skating, dining). Haverstraw has great dining options – in the summer, no trip is complete without a Hoyer's ice cream! The river town of Nyack is close by for restaurants, wine bars, cafes, and shops. Enterprise Car Rental is within walking distance, and local taxis are always available. Uber and Lyft are also available. Walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, parks, and the Hudson River waterfront. Public transit available to nearby towns, and Uber and Lyft are always available.
