Spring is almost here, come out to enjoy this beautiful area. This room is on the second floor, It has a double bed, shared bath with tub & shower. It is bright & cheerful. A rocking chair overlooks gardens. And we're just a few minutes into the center of Farmville and Longwood & Hampden-Sydney Universities. You'll be in the "Heart of Virginia" and it's easy to explore our arts & culture from our home. History and great shopping are just a few minutes away. We care about you and look forward to your visit. This room is on the second floor. It has a double bed, shared bath with tub & shower. It is bright & cheerful and quiet. We love rocking chairs! It's a new farmhouse without all the old farmhouse issues. The house is set deep in the woods and not visible from the street but less than a minute from State Route 15. and less than 10 minutes from Route 460 and the center of Farmville. Dillwyn is about 20 minutes North. Appommatax is about 30 minutes West. If, you're traveling with friend or family the Sky view or Dream room can also accomodate others in your party. Sit back, relax & enjoy nature in the Garden Room, which looks out into a 'Certified' Wildlife Habitat. The house has front & rear decks. The rear deck has ample seating to enjoy the outdoors. The front porch has swings and rocking chairs, to relax and unwind if you'd like to join us. Admire the paintings throughout the house. Some are for sale. Everyone is treated like family. We enjoy chatting about art, history, nature, gardening, and yes, even politics. We would love to have you as our guest and will be as involved as you would like. It's a great getaway to enjoy the natural scenery. Information available on local points of interest, just ask! All are welcome! The area is rural. It's like staying on a farm near town. We are conveniently located near Longwood University, The High Bridge Trail, the famous Greenfront Furniture Outlet and Southside Community Hospital. We welcome traveling medical staff, students & family, political participants, history buffs, shoppers & more. Hampden-Sydney College is within east reach. It's an easy day trips to Appomattox, Jefferson's Monticello, Civil War Museums, Yogaville Ashram and water sports on the James & much more. Farmville is also an active art community & local artists visit often. You will need a car to get around. However, being only 3 miles from many of the places you will be visiting, you can ride a bike or walk We are conveniently located I "The Heart of Virginia"! There are many historic venues within an easy drive. Plenty of hiking and biking, river adventures as well as Downtown Farmville. Both Longwood & Hampden-Sydney Universities are in Farmville.
