Enjoy relaxing at the uncrowded property, with a feeling of being thousands of miles away from the hustle of life. We live on the 6 acre property in the Main House and will be available to answer any questions or concerns. We respect your privacy. We are active (working) on the property. Please feel free to approach us and chat! Downtown Canton is a short drive from the house and offers a variety of local stores, shopping outlets and delicious restaurants. Belden Village in the Jackson Township is one of the area's busiest location for shopping and dining, offering big chain restaurants like Olive Garden, Outback Steakhouse, Texas Roadhouse and more. The Belden Village Mall offers Macy’s, Sears, Target, Ulta Beauty, Kohls and more. Football fans should make the 16-mile trip to the Professional Football Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame is not only for the Football Fan but anyone who desires excellence, this is a must-visit destination! There are a variety of options if you want to practice your golf game during your stay. The cottage is close to a list of local courses including The Quarry, Edgewater Golf Club and Historic Clearview Golf Course! For those visiting colleges in the area, Malone University, Walsh University, Mount Union and Kent University at Stark are all nearby. Other attractions and points of interest include the National First Ladies Library, McKinley Presidential Library & Museums, McKinley Monument, Canton Classic Car Museum and Museum of Art, Canton Palace Theatre, MAPS Air Museum, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Surgarcreek, Amish Village and more *Most restaurants in the immediate area close early. Please ask for information and let us know of your arrival time in order to assist you with your dining needs We are in the rural part of the county and it is best to have your own transportation, and not rely on a ride sharing service. We have a Barn with Goats and Chickens in the gated/fenced area which is viewable from the Guesthouse. We are happy to show you the animals and walking trail to explore (weather permitting)
