This is a beautiful two story, two bedroom, two bathroom Mediterranean style home with lovely living and dining rooms, an adjoining patio, a fully equipped, newly remodeled kitchen, and washer/dryer. Two bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen bed, are upstairs. Walking past the dining table, you walk through French doors to the patio perfect for outdoor dining. The kitchen includes a new fridge, dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, granite countertops, an under-counter German sink, a European faucet, a beautiful rustic island -- and style! The kitchen alcove houses all the quirky -- yet practical – dishes, glasses, pots and pans you will need whether you are cooking for six or simply serving designer coffee, wine or nibbles. And, the newest additions include a washer / dryer! Here you can simultaneously enjoy all the modern conveniences while admiring the craftsmanship of the (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) ’s: the home features the original solid Mahogany hardwood flooring with black walnut pegs on the first floor and the original gorgeous oak stairway and second floor flooring. Here you can enjoy the coastal weather all year round. Facing south, this home is filled with sunlight, and the (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) construction -- featuring thick plaster walls and high ceilings -- keeps it cool on hot summer days. The house easily sleeps six with lots of closet space for the “fashionista” in your party. If you want lovely, artistic surroundings -- peaceful, tasteful and colorful -- with great parking, beach weather and walking to Second Street and the beach, this is for you. The home is fully equipped for cooking, sleeping, bathing, relaxing. It has its own washer / dryer and private patio. I live next door. It is a duplex -- although both houses are totally separate units. The airbnb is over 1,200 sq. feet with its own washer / dryer and patio, etc. So, I am available to help throughout guests stay -- if needed. My co-host, Alix, lives only one mile away and is also available to help -- if needed. The neighborhood is fabulous. Many houses were built in the (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) s and (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) 's -- so the variety of homes is extremely varied and interesting. This makes walking at night so fun. You can see in the windows and get decorating ideas! Seriously, it is a beautiful, friendly area. And, you can enjoy the coastal weather year round. Within walking distance are shops, restaurants, the beach -- and more. Driving is easy here and public transportation is available. The famous Museum of Latin American Art is 2.8 miles away; the Long Beach Airport LGB is 4.4. LAX is 24 miles; and SNA is 20. For a two-hour block on Thursday (8:00 - 10:00 AM) and Friday (10:00 - 12:00 Noon) mornings, the streets are swept by the City of Long Beach, i.e., half the neighborhood streets on one day and half the next day. Therefore, it is important that the guests read the street signs regarding parking and avoid parking on the wrong side of the street on those mornings.
