Charming room with private entrance and sun room
Relaxing retreat in the heart of the West Chester borough. The room has a completely private entrance and a full bath. The space features a luxurious queen size bed and cozy enclosed porch. Come stay with us and you will understand why West Chester is one of Pennsylvania's best kept secrets! Affectionately called the Berry Patch Inn, this beautiful space is tucked away in one of West Chester’s historic late 19th century brick-lined neighborhoods just steps from the downtown. This charming home was built in 1905 by a local physician. Your space has a private entrance and porch, facing a lovely garden. Drink a glass of wine or a cup of coffee on your quaint three season enclosed porch that looks onto a sweet garden. While the room is connected to the rest of the house by an original 19th century door, it remains locked, giving you constant privacy. The space has been remodeled (with lots of love), including a new shower and hardwood floor. The bathroom features a rain showerhead, a repurposed antique mirror and the slab marble tiles are something special – you won’t want to leave! The Berry Patch BNB has a gorgeous plush queen size Simmons Beauty Sleep medium firm mattress, high thread count cotton linens, extra pillows, organic towels and high speed internet. Enjoy a light Mexican theme – inspired by my annual work in Mexico teaching yoga and meditation retreats. There is on site parking at the rear of the lot. One space is reserved for guests and can be accessed by an alley off of the main street. While the room is connected to the rest of the house by an original 19th century door, it remains locked, giving you constant privacy. The room has a separate entrance. The only point of interaction with the rest of the house is in the garden. Otherwise, you have your own house in the most walkable part of West Chester! I am available via the phone or app to welcome you or give recommendations. I am happy to give recommendations and share with you my favorite parts of West Chester and the surrounding area! Self check-in is easy with a keypad. At the heart of Chester County, the Borough of West Chester is the gateway for a robust palette of activities for everyone.
