15 minutes from the University of Connecticut on pristine Coventry Lake. Our B&B has all modern amenities. We offer a second floor bedroom and a private bath in our recently built home. We offer a second floor guest room with bathroom across the hall and an airy sitting room with balcony overlooking the lake. Guests have access to the lake and may use kayaks and paddleboards. We are a short ride (10 min.) away from the East Coast Greenway, a walking/jogging/biking path that extends for miles, as well as other hiking areas including the Airline Trail. The Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods casinos are approximately 45 minutes away. The University of Connecticut, home of the UConn Huskies is a mere 15 minutes away. During the summer and early fall you can head to the Coventry Farmers' Market, rated the number 1 farmers' market in America (open Sundays 10 - 1). Just a few miles away is the Mansfield Drive-In, showing movies May to late September. Enjoy a bit of old-fashioned fun. We are more than happy to suggest places to visit and restaurants to try. During the summer, you are welcome to tour the lake with our kayaks and paddle boards. We enjoy spending time with our guests but your privacy is also important to us. In good weather breakfast is served on the deck overlooking the lake. We are located at the end of a dead end street. It is a quiet family neighborhood. There are several restaurants located within a few miles. We are only a few miles from the Mansfield Drive In theater, one of the few drive-ins left in New England. Guest parking is beside the garage. We do have two small dogs - Bandit the Corgi and Rigby the Westie, who are friendly and love attention. Most of our electricity used is made by our solar panel system. Breakfasts are freshly made with locally sourced foods whenever possible. Please let us know if you have any special dietary restrictions. We follow the CDC’s sanitation recommendations. We clean and disinfect your room after the previous guest checks out.
