Riverscape Cottage, Volney, NY – Oswego County is a charming detached cottage in open countryside with spectacular views of the Oswego River yet only a 30 minute drive to downtown Syracuse / downtown Oswego. The cottage is surrounded by generous lawn and nature on the historic Erie Canal, there is a small deck with a table and chairs to enjoy the views. This is a humble, cozy cottage, perfect for two people, with everything you need for a simple, rustic, and beautiful stay away from home. The Riverview Cottage is fitted simply, but includes all basic necessities. It features 2 small bedrooms: the first has a single bed, the second has a queen sized bed. Also included: a full bath, small kitchen, living room with comfortable couch, cable TV, Wi-Fi and working fireplace (winter only), with a large window overlooking the Oswego River. Nearby is the Fulton Raceway, Great Bear Springs Recreation Area, the City of Syracuse and Syracuse University, walking/hiking, river fishing, and golf. Day trips to the Finger Lakes, Lake Ontario, Fair Haven State Park, Green Lakes State Park, Salmon River, can be easily reached. NO PETS. No exceptions.
