Wake up to birds chirping and watch the morning fog roll off the river. Both bedrooms have a deck with riverfront views where you can have a leisurely morning while enjoying your morning coffee. The sprawling main deck is excellent for grilling, fishing, lounging & sunbathing. There are 2 boat docks available for your use! If you have a boat(s), you can dock it here. Boats & kayaks are also available for rent nearby. Outdoor activities nearby include: hiking, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, wine tasting, boating, rock climbing, bouldering, kayaking, swimming, and more! After a day of outdoor adventure, return to this charming cabin and enjoy the connected and comfortable world inside or relax on the deck and let the stillness of the river soak in. From the house, you can see intense colors of fall leaves reflecting in the river. A few local highlights: -Valley Falls State Park - Relax on the large rocks right next to the waterfalls. Have a picnic by the falls, or go hiking on trails overlooking the river. -Coopers Rock State Park : Be sure to visit Rock City for an unforgettable unique hike with beautiful rock structures in the forest. Bouldering and rock climbing is popular here. -Lavender Fields: Pick your own lavender, take a yoga class in the lavender fields, and be sure to stock up on locally made lavender products. -Hidden Gems - We know of some beautiful off the beaten path nature spots - Ask us how to get there:) -Blueberry Picking - A perfect family activity - take the family to this cute farm and pick your own blueberries! -Pricketts Fort - Take a trip back in time! Pricketts Fort State Park uses a living history style of interpretation to preserve, document and exhibit the past. It features an 18th-century recreation of the original Pricketts Fort -Drive-in theater - Another perfect socially distanced activity the whole family can enjoy. You will have the Entire house to yourself. Lots of activities, hiking, kayaking, fishing, berry picking, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, boating, hunting, horseback riding, antiquing. You can even lounge in lavender fields, and pick your own lavender in a nearby lavender field AND take a yoga class in a lavender field! The house has 2 spaces to dock your boats as well!
