Cozy Queen (LONG TERM STAY ONLY)

Small town & relaxing environment in the middle of everything. LONG TERM ONLY (3+month)Walking trails, biking, swimming, kayaking, parks, hiking & fishing right out our door. Dog park behind house w/tennis/basketball court. Large back yard w/bbq fire bowl & gazebo. Metro-North train station-one block walk for a day in NYC, N, S or New Haven. Pets (excluding cats) and children over 7 welcome. Safe environment. Accepting of people from all-walks of life. (a $5 fee applies per night per pet) Our place is an older style home but cozy. Our friendly cats (one is 23 and blind)add a bit of character adding to the "at home" feel. We live in a very safe town and within walk to all law enforcement and safety facilities so we don't have fear of crime. There is a lock on the Bnb door for your security should you feel the need for it. Exterior doors lock at night. It's a bit like living in Mayberry or Bedford Falls if you get the references. The home is decorated with a whimsical eclectic feel and designed for our guests to find what they need and feel comfortable Guests have full access to their room (obviously), 2 bathrooms, kitchen, enclosed heated back porch, living room and dining room. When the weather warms up the gazebo opens up for guests to enjoy outdoor time as well as our vegetable and herb garden for guests to help themselves. There is an accessible dog park, tennis/basketball court directly behind our house and a flat yard for yard games such as bocci or badminton. Trails, hiking, fishing is all within a walk. Most guest come and go as they please. Our own schedules are a bit chaotic. If there are any questions I am always reachable if not on the premises This town is very similar in it's old fashion charm to the movie It's a Wonderful life. It's a safe area with an old time feel. There are trails, paths, hiking, fishing right outside. A dog park and tennis/basketball court are directly behind our home for guests to access. We are surrounded by shopping only 10 minutes in any direction and 5 hospitals all within a 15-25 minute drive There is a public bus line that stops in town across the street going north and south as well as a 5 minute walk to the Metro North train platform that runs north to Hartford, south to Bridgeport where you can switch trains to head East to New Haven or West into Grand Central. 2 cats on premises All guests must pay $5 per pet for a pet fee per night and is payable at the time of check in
