Come stay in this comfortable one bedroom apartment with large open space living room, kitchen area, bathroom, Wi-Fi, parking, and a private entrance onto a gorgeous backyard garden. Centrally located in a quiet neighborhood equidistant from Moody St. in Waltham and West Newton Sq. -- a 15 minute walk from excellent restaurants and an independent movie theater in both directions. Two dance studios with regular weekend dances nearby. To protect guests with allergies, no pets allowed. This is the lower floor of a three story house. -Free parking for 1 vehicle -Private entrance is in the back of the house, through the garden -Garden, with Adirondack chairs and a cornucopia of flowers, trees and organic vegetables -Bedroom has a double bed and night table. Plenty of closet space -South facing large open living room, with adjoining kitchen and dining area has a queen-sized futon which becomes a second bed, a desk, a dining table, and a wall of windows and glass door which let in the afternoon sun -Kitchen area has sink, full-size refrigerator, microwave, hotplate, coffee maker and electric kettle. Coffee, tea and a few snacks will be there too! -Bathroom has toilet, shower, sink, shampoo, soap, and conditioner. -Free Wi-Fi -TV (HD picks up a number of channels) and DVD with a stack of movies -A bookcase (full of books) Guests have access to the whole lower floor apartment, the driveway (with space for 1 vehicle), and the garden out back. Summer and fall, pick your own salad. Hang out and relax in the sun and breeze. I live upstairs and will be available to check guests in. You may also find me in the gardens from time to time, watering, weeding and communing with the plants. Happy to answer questions about the area. Newton is quiet, lined with trees, and kid friendly. The Charles River flows nearby and has a miles long bicycle path. Also canoe and kayak rentals. If you are traveling with child, there's an elementary school playground and fields (open to the public after school) right across the street. Brandeis University, Regis College, Bentley College, Laselle College, Boston College are all nearby, as are restaurants and shops in Newton and Waltham. Boston is, of course, the main attraction, and is easily accessible, about 20 minutes by car. Alternatively, take the T into the city from Riverside Station, a 10 minute drive away, which has plenty of parking. See the neighborhood overview section.
