We are less than 10 mi. from Hunter & Windham ski & within 25 min. of Belleayre ski & Colgate Lake. Hike the various trails within minutes of our house, or roam our own 1.79 acres of property including 3 bridges and 2 streams. Welcome to our home, Lexinghaus, our little piece of heaven nestled in the quaint and charming hamlet of Lexington, NY. Lexinghaus is a turn of the century farmhouse, with some modern amenities thrown in. When you stay at Lexinghaus, you are merely minutes away from all that upstate NY has to offer! Skiing, hiking, lakes, creeks, shopping, tubing, biking, boating. You name it, you are only minutes away! We are located less than 10 miles from Hunter and Windham mountains and within 25 minutes of Belleayre Mountain and Colgate Lake. Hike the various trails within minutes of our house (Diamond Notch, Kaaterskill Falls, plus many more), or roam our own 1.79 acres of property including 3 bridges and 2 meandering streams. Is it peace and quiet you crave? You have that too! Meander through the almost 2 acres of property. Cross over the multiple bridges and listen to the stream that runs down the mountain into the wishing pool by the patio. Sit and listen to the sound of the running water as it lulls you into a state of peaceful bliss! Or sit inside the cozy parlor and watch a movie on the 65” TV! Are you looking for space for you and all your family and friends? Lexinghaus boasts 2,300 sq. ft. of space to stretch out. We offer 4 bedrooms (3 upstairs and 1 down) and 2 full baths, a full kitchen with double oven and eating area, a living room, a dining room/game area, a parlor, a sunroom, and a mud room for all of your gear after a day spent exploring. When it’s time for meals, prepare one in the fully equipped kitchen, or enjoy any of the eateries just minutes away in Hunter, Tannersville, Windham, or the newly rebuilt, up-and-coming Prattsville. Want a place to kick back a few brews? Try the brewery right next door in West Kill. There is no end to the adventures to be had at Lexinghaus. Lexinghaus sleeps twelve comfortably. Side notes: This is a family home. We ask that you please do not host parties at the house. This is a non-smoking house. Any smoking must be done outside and all cigarette butts are to be picked up and disposed of. Please use the bins in the mudroom to recycle your plastics and metals. They may be left on the premises. Please remove all bedding at the end of the stay and put all sheets and pillow cases in a pile in the corner of each room. If you have used any appliances from the mudroom, please leave a note so that they may be cleaned after your stay. There are running streams on the property. Please use the utmost care and caution with your children. See all the area has to offer at (Website hidden by Airbnb) Use of entire house other than one locked closet and garage. Keypad entry at back door. As owners, we live on Long Island but our host is only minutes away! One phone call and your needs will be met. Lexington is an historic hamlet with some unique landmarks like the Lexington House and Lexington Hotel, both on the corner of our street. Diamond Notch is right next door in West Kill along with the new West Kill Brewery. Our house is located right across the street from the Schoharie Creek, where you can fish or hand launch a boat. We are minutes from major roadways such as Route 23, Route 23A, and Route 42. We are minutes up the road from supermarkets, shopping, dining, etc. Receive keypad code from host upon confirmation of reservation.
