Once a small barn, now a unique guest house surrounded by trees and nature. A secluded setting, yet right on the edge of the city and in close proximity to three colleges. Not far to Fond du Lac Loop bike and walking trail. Also close to grocery stores and great restaurants. Explore the nature area on the property! Fully equipped kitchen to make your stay comfortable, including coffee and condiments. Charcoal grill for your use (charcoal and lighter fluid supplied). Fire pit for campfires! Snowshoes available for winter fun. I'm either home or very near. Owner lives on site so don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have while here. Located right down the street from Marian University, and within a half mile of UW-Fond du Lac and Moraine Park Technical College. Herr-Baker Field is kitty-corner from my property, and home to local Fond du Lac Dockspiders summer collegiate baseball games all summer long. Just 30 minutes to Road America at Elkhart Lake, and 30 minutes to Oshkosh's EAA grounds. Visit Urban Fuel, a quaint coffeeshop and restaurant just a few minutes away in Peebles. Also, host can recommend her favorite Mexican and American restaurants that are real close. The cottage is in a somewhat wooded area, which means there definitely is wildlife around. Woodpeckers enjoy the cedar siding, create holes, then at times before I am able to get someone to make repairs we get something trying to make a nest! I am working on remedying the problem, and just want any potential guest to know ahead of time.
