BWI Airport is a 10 to 20 minute drive just up the main artery that connects to the neighborhood. Baltimore and Annapolis are 20 to 30 minutes. The free Beverly Triton county park and beach on the Chesapeake Bay is a 30 to 40 minute drive as is Sandy Point State Park with its large beach. Washington DC is 40 minutes by car. Cars are the norm. Train transportation is less than a ten minute drive to the Odenton MARC Station, where you can buy a $6 one-way ticket for a 25-minute trip to Union Station in Washington DC. or in the other direction to Baltimore.
