This adjoining guesthouse sits atop North Mountain with spectacular 30- mile views of Shenandoah Valley plus the Appalachian Mtns. to the West. It has excellent Wi-Fi & cell service and a workstation-perfect for telecommuting! It's rustic post and beam construction, all hardwood floors, filled w/ antiques, outside seating areas surrounded by lush rock gardens. Located near Martinsburg, Shepherdstown, Charles Town, Harpers Ferry, Winchester and just 2 hours from the DC/Balt. area. This guest house has the feel of a mountain cabin and is close to Martinsburg, Charles Town, Shepherdstown, Harpers Ferry and Winchester. It has excellent cell phone reception and strong Wi-Fi signal. It's post and beam construction with exposed beams, cathedral ceilings and open floor plan. We follow Airbnb's 5 step cleaning process and supply extra cleaning and disinfecting supplies for your use. The first floor has a living room with queen sleep sofa, flat screen TV, library, fireplace; a dining room and a complete kitchen with laundry. An open staircase leads upstairs to a large loft area that has a queen bed , a twin bed, balcony & full bath. There is a large front porch & back deck to sit & read, dine, or enjoy the views plus a fire pit and many outside seating areas.. The home is ideal for 2 to 5 guests. There is excellent cell phone service and a strong Wi-Fi signal. It has keyless entry. The terrain is rugged – mostly large rocks, trees, and gardens. There are seven steps up to the first level and is not suitable for wheelchairs. The owners have three indoor/outdoor cats that you might see wandering around outside and two dogs: a very shy rescued hound and an energetic and friendly Labradoodle mix. There is ample parking. We love socializing with our guests and learning about their lives but realize that some guests like a little more privacy and we're okay with that. This Airbnb is centrally located in the Eastern Panhandle, Berkeley County, WV. Nearby towns are Martinsburg, Inwood, Shepherdstown, Harpers Ferry, Charles Town, Winchester and Berkeley Springs. The fridge is stocked with condiments, coffee, half and half, yogurt, bagels and bread and bottled water. There's a fire pit for making hot dogs and s'mores. The fire starters and wood are provided. There are flower and rock gardens to stroll through, a hammock to relax in, a swing and rockers on the front porch, decks for viewing and dining and country roads to walk on.
