There are trails for walking that are breathtaking. Tennis courts, bike trails, track are right down the block. There are great restaurants down the block, a golf course, a mall 10 min away, as well as movie theaters. By car, a little over an hour into Manhattan. There are many beaches along the coast, outlets, etc. CT is Beautiful. You will need to rent a car but if you rent near hear, it is like $50 for a weekend. If I'm around, I can be your personal driver for a fee and take you to wherever you'd like to go. There is the long wharf theater for plays, as well as the Shubert in New Haven and Broadway in NYC is just 1.5 hours away.
