Welcome to a private, centrally located 2BR,fully furnished and newly renovated apartment in Johnson City, TN (hub of the Tri-Cities). Apt is within 5 min of ETSU/VA campus, shopping, and restaurants. We would love to have you stay. Apt is 900 square feet with King and Queen pillow top mattresses, new kitchen, and comfortable living room. Located on the ground floor with parking right out your front door, in a safe neighborhood. The key lockbox code and the wireless password are sent the day of your reservation. We won't be there to greet you because this is your home away from home, but the lights will be on and we are nearby if you need something. The Whisper Air heating/cooling units are easy to control and work quickly. Kirby Flats are in a quiet neighborhood, two blocks from a main parkway in Johnson City. The apartment is brick, built in the 70's, and was completely remodeled in 2016. Just around the corner is the 2,300 student High School and 1,300 student middle school. The sports complex is only three blocks away, as is the 1.5 mile walking trail. Starbucks is just down the road as is our newest coffee shop, "Open Doors." Kroger, Earth Fare, Fresh Market, mall shopping and restaurants are close, too. Johnson City has all the conveniences of a bigger town, but with a small town feel! But, if you want a true small town, Jonesborough (the first established city in TN), is a 15 minute drive. Johnson City is also home to four mega churches within a 5-mile radius as well as hundreds of smaller options. My wife loves antiques and would recommend the neighboring city of Elizabethton as a fun day trip, 20 minutes East. It's good to bring slippers or socks since carpeting and rugs are minimal on a tile floor for cleanliness and safety reasons.
