Country Home on a Hill is peacefully located in the town of New Preston. Centrally located to amazing trails and land preserves with quality eateries, wineries, breweries and shopping. Come wake up to the sounds of birds chirping under the canopy of a majestic Oak tree! Lots of local wineries, breweries, farms, hiking trails, lakes, shopping and eateries within miles of the house. Centrally located near grocery and liquor shops. Seasonally there is an Italian cheese truck 1/4 mi. away. Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire house to themselves. I generally take cues from guests on their interaction comfort level. I am available anytime via phone, text or email to answer any questions you may have. Boasting a fully equipped eat in kitchen, on site laundry facilities, 55” TVs in both bedrooms, cozy living room and steam shower. The best way to get around “ town” and the surrounding areas is by car. There are also Ubers available in the area if you partook in too many of the local wineries/breweries. The are also 2 lovely dining establishments within walking distance.
