The finishes and upgrades do not disappoint. Between the large great room, bedrooms that are big enough to be private suites and the ceiling high windows you truly feel like you are in your own private sanctuary. You will walk in and be stunned by the beautiful vaulted ceilings lined with wooden beams to further encompass the rustic mountain charm. This Estate is the PERFECT location for any occasion. The property is located in the upscale Evergreen Estates between Snow Summit/Bear Mountain and Big Bear Lake. Such locations prove this to be the ideal place to stay for a trip to the Slopes, the Lake, the Downtown Village or any other occasion that may bring you to Big Bear Lake. This Estate offers guests their own personal sanctuary away from the fast-paced lifestyle of today – but is just minutes away from local shopping, restaurants and all the mountain outdoor activities to help you truly enjoy your trip. This property is the perfect spot for couples, families or large groups celebrating special occasions and milestones in their lives. We love being a small part of the memories that will last a lifetime. SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS: The beautiful Master Suite is fit for a King and Queen – it features an Eastern King Bed, Smart TV that sits on the mantel of a stone fireplace, a sliding glass door that leads to the back deck and a large closet which has recently been converted into the perfect room for parents traveling with small children. The closet now features a bunk bed set with full-size mattresses. The Master Bathroom ensuite features a walk-in shower and soaking jetted tub. The peaceful Guest bedroom off the hallway features a King Bed + Trundle Style Twin beds with an ensuite that features a shower and tub combination. The tranquil Guest bedroom off the living room features two (2) queen beds + one (1) bunk bed over-top, Smart TV and sliding glass door which leads to the back deck – this bedroom includes an ensuite with a soaking jetted tub and a walk-in shower. Just a few steps away, you can travel upstairs to a bedroom that features three (3) bunk beds with a sliding glass door that leads to the front balcony. This bedroom does not have direct access to a bathroom. IN HOUSE ENTERTAINMENT: This home is equipped with an iPad which helps control the Sonos Music System, featuring music from either Spotify or Pandora. You can control it all with the tip of the finger. For your listening pleasure, we have provided Sonos Speakers in the Master Bedroom, both Guest Bedrooms, Kitchen and Living Room. The flow of music throughout the house has continued to be a guest favorite. The home has a Pool Table, Shuffleboard Table and Foosball Table for your enjoyment, in addition the house has various board games located in the wet bar - game nights are a must when you are entertaining! We recently upgraded our high-speed wireless capability to make sure, if the internet is needed to connect back to reality its just a click away. KITCHEN/LIVING AND DINING ROOMS: Our kitchen is truly a chef’s dream! The kitchen features stainless-steel appliances, granite counter tops and a very large island and wet bar. Seating 16 for dinner is no problem at this house. Between the variety of spices, latte machine and much more – this house has all the tools you need to make the perfect meal. You can enjoy the over-sized kitchen table which has seating for eight (8). End the evening with an after-dinner drink on one of the three (3) bar stools situated by the wet bar, complete with a mini fridge + wine fridge. After entertaining is done, cozy up on the extra-large leather sofas and enjoy your favorite show on the new 65-inch ROKU TV. SANCTUARY: One of the best parts of the property! The back deck has been recently updated and now features a seven (7) person Saltwater Hot Tub and six (6) burner natural gas grill. Enjoy our patio furniture (taken in during the winter months and during inclement weather), while relaxing and taking in the fresh mountain air. Our family hopes that you and your guests find the pure enjoyment provided by this property and create life-long memories here, just as we have. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: PUBLIC TRASH SITES "CLEAN BEAR": All renters MUST dispose of their trash prior to departure - Clean Bear Trash Site #1: Address: 41970 Garstin Rd. Clean Bear Trash Site #2: Address: 39690 Big Bear Blvd. **PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL FINE FOR ANY TRASH THAT IS NOT REMOVED FROM THE PROPERTY FOLLOWING YOUR STAY** Please read thoroughly and completely to make sure that our home will be the right location for your trip with your friends and family: SHORT-TERM RENTAL – CITY OF BIG BEAR LAKE ORDINANCE: In an effort to retain the quality of the City of Big Bake, Big Bear City has issued a city wide ordinance for all Short-Term Vacation Rentals - 1. Outdoor Activities (Including use of Spas) are prohibited between the hours of 10:00 pm to 7:00 am 2. No Sound Amplification is permitted outside the property line – including but not limited to playing music, yelling, and screaming (Music can be played inside only – at a respectful level at all times) 3. All cars must be parked in the garage and/or driveway at all times Any violation of this ordinance are grounds or immediate eviction without refund and any fines incurred will be the responsibility for the renter to pay. NEIGHBORHOOD RESPECT: Per the City of Big Bear Lake, the Good Neighbor Policy must be signed at the time of the reservation. Your signed policy will be provided upon check-in and must be presented to the City upon request. Any violation of the City Ordinance will result in fines and/or immediate eviction without refund. RENTAL AGREEMENT: A valid Drivers License and signed Short-Term Rental Agreement are due within 48 hours of booking confirmation. If the rental agreement is not received within thirty (30) days of booking, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation without refund. PAYMENT: Payment is split into two (2) payments (if booked more than thirty (30) days out from confirmed arrival date). If the second payment is NOT received by VRBO fourteen (14) days prior to arrival, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation without refund. AGE REQUIREMENT: The primary renter (who signs the Short-Term Rental Agreement) must be 30 years of age. The renter who's name appears on the rental agreement MUST BE PRESENT with a valid photo ID at the time of check in, check-out and for the entire duration of the stay. CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT's: In-person check-ins and check-outs are mandatory. Failure to comply will result in an additional fine. OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy for our home is 16 guests. If you exceed the maximum number of occupants at any time during your stay, you will incur an additional fine and be evicted without refund - please reference your short-term rental agreement for additional information. HOME QUALITY: Renter is financially responsible for any damages to the home during their stay. We provide two (2) options for Damage Protection via VRBO. Please ask the home owner for additional information. Please check upon your arrival to ensure that the power, heat, Wi-Fi, hot water, hot tub and TV's are working correctly. Please note, homes in Big Bear Lake are not equipped with AC. We ARE NOT responsible for any circumstances that are outside of our control including but not limited to: weather or road conditions, acts of mother-nature, neighborhood construction, mechanical or electrical failure or malfunction with the NEST, Spa, TV's, iPad, Sonos, Wi-Fi or the sighting of any insects, bugs or rodents. PARKING: Per the City of Big Bear Lake, our homes maximum vehicle occupancy is four (4) vehicles in the driveway. During the Winter months, snow will likely reduce parking by one (1) to two (2) vehicles; please make sure to plan accordingly. THERE IS NO STREET PARKING PERMITTED. Violation of occupancy and parking regulations will result in fines and/or immediate eviction without refund. CHAIN REQUIREMENT LEVELS: When chain controls are established, signs will be posted along the road indicating the type of requirement. Please ask the homeowner for additional information about the three (3) levels of requirements. SNOW REMOVAL: During the winter months, snow removal may be required to gain access to the estate, as well as the front and back decks, BBQ and Hot Tub. We have provided shovels, window scrappers and snow melt in the garage. HOLIDAY/SPECIAL DATES: Holidays are either a four (4) or six (6) night MINIMUM stay. During the months of January, February, November and December other cancellation policies will apply. Please reference your Short-Term Rental Agreement or ask the homeowner prior to booking. VIDEO SURVEILLANCE: The home is equipped with a ring camera doorbell and ring floodlight camera above the garage – the video footage is record for security purposes and liability reasons in the case of any break-ins, injury, death or disregarding house policies and rules in place. These cameras in no way infringe upon the guest’s expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited an may result in being asked to vacate the home immediately, without refund of any/all monies received. Violations of any of the above by the primary renter or any of the guests staying at the home will result in an immediate eviction of the entire group without refund. Any additional city imposed fines may not be made aware to home owner for up to ninety (90) days. The Renter is responsible for payment of any and all fines following their checkout or eviction.
