The best of both worlds; private and quite nestled in a beautiful lot among pine and aspen trees but very close to Main Street where all the shops, restaurants and bars are located. Enjoy morning breakfast on the wrap around deck and wake up to the sound of nature and enjoy the amazing view of the mountains. Enjoy a barbecue, drink some wine around the fire pit and enjoy the best starry skies you will ever see on the deck! Walk to town out of the backyard onto the trail that lead to a network of all the great trails. To town it takes 10 minutes via the trail in the summer and 15 minutes in the winter. Head up deeper into the mountains for a nice serene walk or mountain bike ride. In the winter, bring your snow shoes and enjoy the trails. The roads are well maintained and paved so the access is easy so you could drive to the ski gondola, walk to the corner to catch the free bus or Uber it for only $10-$20. Dogs are allowed with prior approval. The pet fee is $200 per dog per stay. Upon approval request, we will send out the dog house rules for acknowledgement. The Moonstone Mountain Getaway is rustic on the outside but mountain chic on the inside with fully stocked kitchen, HD TVs with cable and nice linens, pillows and beds for a nice restful vacation. Each bedroom is thoughtfully appointed and maintained. The house boasts an updated interior with every detail tended to. The kitchen and living room is open and great for cooking big post-skiing family dinners. There is a separate family room downstairs perfect for extra space for the kids. The newly remodeled loft has a romantic ambiance that is sure to inspire you! Enjoy the Emmy winning Cougar pictures throughout the cabin commemorating my dad’s work. We take precautions in making sure the cabin is sanitized after every stay so our place is not only sparkling clean but we take an extra step to sanitize it. Skiing is great as Breckenridge is one of the best with enough challenge and diversity to keep you on your toes. Keystone and Arapahoe Basin is 15-20 minutes away. Vail is 35-40 minutes. During the summer enjoy Lake Dillon. Rent a Kayak, paddle board or charter a romantic sail boat and explore all the little islands.
