Modern Cozy Suite Close to Raleigh Center

This is a 1660 sqft mother in law suite with a large den. This is the lower level of our split level home and has its own separate entrance. It has a fully stocked kitchen, 1 bathroom, and great room. Each bedroom is furnished with queen beds and a sofa. There is a great room with 3 sofas, a recliner, a 50 inch smart Roku TV, and a fireplace. One sofa is a double Futon. 2 additional Queen beds provide sleeping space for a total of 8 with optional twin floor mattress. Space for dining or relaxing. Beautiful patio for grilling out or just relaxing. Our family resides in the 2nd floor of the house, separate from the 1st-floor apartment. This space is simple, comfortable, private and complete, and is kid friendly. You can rest comfortably in complete privacy. No smoking anywhere on the property. Smoking will forfeit security deposit. We are unable to accommodate smokers. We have 2-floor mattresses (not thin foam pads) available upon request. The beautiful patio is just outside your door for relaxing beside a waterfall or grilling out with a table for 8. If you need anything else we are available to provide it or help you find it. We live upstairs and try to help each guest's stay be great. The space for rent is separate from our living space. Access to the suite in through a rear entrance. Day or night you can check yourself in just follow the rope lights attached to the deck. Enter through the lower door at the rear of the home and use the code provided to unlock the door. The private kitchen is fully furnished. Additionally, there is a washer and dryer as well as an ironing board for your use just off the hallway. There are up to 8 beds to sleep 14 people, and room for a queen air mattress for a total of 16 (tight). Parking is free at the top of the driveway and is just a few steps from your own private entrance below the upper deck. There is a large deck and patio with a grill and table for 8 that you may use. Other unique items that may interest you are the kids' fort and trampoline. Interaction with Guests We are available to answer questions or tell you about the city. We are well traveled ourselves and speak English and Spanish. Your stay is separate from our living quarters so if you desire complete privacy, you have it. The Neighborhood Our neighborhood was built in the 70's and is quiet. The neighbors know one another, frequently walk around the neighborhood and watch out for each other. Interestingly this neighborhood has a very integrated demographic mix. There are people from every continent as well a some "old timers" who have been here since the neighborhood was built. Getting Around We are located a few blocks from the bus line for public transportation. Downtown is a just a short 8 minutes away where you will find the Duke Energy Center and Red Hat Amphitheater, and the Convention Center, and of course, NC State and the State Farmers Market are just a few miles from downtown as well. The inner belt (440) line is just 1.5 miles off of which you will find Carter-Finely Stadium, PNC Arena, and the North Carolina State Fair Grounds a short 10-minute drive. The outer belt line (540) is only 5 miles from which a short 15-minute drive will get you to RDU and the Research Triangle Park. We can arrange to pick you up from the airport for a $25 fee. There is plenty of shopping with 3 Walmarts within 5 miles as well as Triangle Town Center Mall. Most Large chain restaurants can be found within 5 miles as well as many local ones too. Cary, Apex, Knightdale, Morrisville are 20 minutes away while Durham and Chapel Hill are 30-50 minutes. UNC is in Chapel Hill while Duke Hospital is in Durham along with the Durham Bulls and the Durham Performing Arts Center DPAC. Whether you have come for business, the big game, the arts, or history, you will be in the center of it all here at John and Jenni's clean, cool, comfortable, and cozy suite, your home away from home! Other Things to Note Please feel free to enjoy the snacks and water provided. We keep it cool, usually 65-70. If you have other preferences, let us know so we can adjust the temp. There is a Laundry room with detergent for you to use. The water heater is large capacity and reheats quickly.
