Located on a quiet tree-lined street, with a view on Montreal's famous Olympic Stadium, next to the Biodome, and Botanical Gardens. The apartment has a sofa bed for extra sleeping space, washer/dryer, fast WiFi, fully furnished kitchen, clothesline, access to a large backyard, coffee and towels provided. The Space: 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds, sofa-bed in the living room, fully furnished kitchen, washer/dryer, clothesline. You can expect a charming nod to our Canadian heritage through subtle (and not so subtle!) Canadiana decor. Guest Access: There is a private balcony overlooking a quiet tree lined street, and a second balcony in the back with a view on the Olympic Stadium. Fully furnished kitchen, washer dryer, fans for fresh air, closets and living room. Interaction with Guests: If you need anything, we live in the same building and are happy to help. We like to stop by and introduce ourselves, but will leave you the space to enjoy. The Neighborhood: Lots of activities on l'Esplanade Olympique, and the apartment is next to the Olympic Stadium, Botanical Gardens, Biodome, Insectarium, and Planetarium. Lots to do and see! There is a convenience store on the same block providing basic groceries (milk, bread, eggs, cold cut meats, cheese, canned food, etc...). Two blocks away there is a large grocery store, pharmacy, and several trendy restaurants. Also close by is Maisoneuve Market, where you can find small market shops and fresh foods. Getting Around: Best way to get around is by metro, the place is 1/2 a block from the station Pie IX, on the green line (main metro line that goes across the island, via downtown core). If driving, we are a few blocks from Notre-Dame, which turns into the 720, 10 minutes from the 40 (aka metropolitain). Coming from the south shore, best bet is the Lafontaine tunnel or Jacques Cartier Bridge. For summertime, there is a Bixie stand next door, and a bike path right on our street.
