Ocean View Countryside Condo on Vancouver Island

Ocean view condo in the countryside of beautiful Vancouver Island with access to the seashore, private dock, pool, hot tub, playground, and tennis court. Five minute drive to an old English country pub and twenty minutes to Nanaimo and the ferries. This end unit is one of largest in the complex. Three private decks. This is our family vacation spot that we’ve been coming to for years. The location is unique on Vancouver Island. It is a private oceanside resort set in the charming countryside rather than a busy tourist town. You can stay at the resort to relax at the pool and explore the seashore or go for a short drive to the farmer’s market, an old english pub, two craft breweries, or one of the half dozen wineries. Fish, crab, boat, or kayak off of the private dock or hike one of the nearby trails. Our unit is an end one making it one of the largest in the complex. It occupies the second and third floor giving it great views and an open bright interior. The master bedroom is on a separate floor with its own private bathroom and deck. In addition to the second bedroom with a queen bed, there are two pull out couches in the living room which are great for kids that are getting too old to share a bed. With three private decks in total and a large floor plan it is a great place for the entire family to enjoy while having plenty of room to retreat have individual space. On site at the resort: swimming pool, hot tub, private dock, tennis court, playground, private seashore with tidal pools to explore. Within a 5-10 minute drive: two pubs, grocery store, liquor store, restaurants, the town of Cedar, farmer's market (Sunday 10-2), neighbourhood roadside stands with fresh country eggs and produce. Within a 25-35 minute drive: two craft breweries, a half dozen wineries, hiking, climbing, fishing, crabbing, a large shopping mall, major outlet stores (Costco, Home Depot, Cabelas, etc.) Within a 45-60 minute drive: Rathtrevor Beach, Parksville, Coombs, water tubing down Lake Cowichan River, the cute town of Chemainus, multiple gulf islands via ferry.
