Cozy 3BR short walk to the beach! **UPDATED**

NEWLY REMODELED...We have done some updating which includes new flooring throughout and a completely updated kitchen with new cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and granite counter tops! NOTE: New cleaning/disinfecting protocols per CDC guidelines: ~~Please note that in light of the current health situation, and for enhanced guest safety, we will not be providing bed linens, comforters/blankets or bath towels for the 2020 rental season. We will also be removing decorative pillows from all furniture. We do provide 2 kitchen dish cloths and 2 kitchen towels as well as a bath mat for each bathroom. At the end of your stay those items should be placed in the pop up hamper in the master bedroom closet. ~~In keeping with CDC guidelines we are using CDC approved cleaning and disinfecting products to perform the following after each stay: __ Clean surfaces: ~All door and drawer handles and knobs ~All surfaces in kitchen including counter tops (NO bleach, citrus products, ammonia, Windex, vinegar or abrasive cleaners on kitchen countertops), sink, appliance handles, chairs and bar stools, toaster, coffee maker, toaster, trash can ~All surfaces in bathrooms including toilet handle and all sink and tub faucets ~All surfaces in bedrooms ~All light switches, lamp knobs, fan pulls, thermostat, window latches, TV remotes ~Front door keypad ___ Disinfect surfaces above with wipes or spray ___ Disinfect soft surfaces (couch, chairs, mattresses) with spray ___ Wash top mattress covers ___ Wash bath mats Our space is a cozy three bedroom beach cottage located at Mile Post 6.5 in Kill Devil Hills. It offers a short walk to the beach, and close proximity to local shops, restaurants, a movie theater, laser tag, bowling, the Wright Brothers Memorial, and the Avalon Fishing Pier. The cottage includes wifi, 2 cable TVs, and a kitchen fully stocked with silverware, dishes, cups, coffee maker, microwave, oven, fridge, and blender for any of your cooking needs. The space can sleep 6 comfortably. Some uncommon amenities we offer include: -Parking for up to 4 vehicles -Very spacious outdoor shower -Lockable storage space for your beach gear. -2 bikes for cruising to nearby restaurants -Downstairs minifridge for additional drink storage. -large 2 person hammock under the house, relax rain or shine! -hand-crafted outdoor furniture. -TWO decks at the front and rear of the house. The front is covered, the back deck is exposed. - Grill (charcoal) and outdoor grilling area. -Free wifi and cable. Wifi is available throughout the house. The living room and master bedroom include cable TV and the living room has a DVD player. -A cart to push your beach needs to the beach and back easily. -A picnic table for the family to gather around. Our beach cottage is within a short walk or bike ride to multiple popular areas: -Short walk to the beach No need to drive to a communal parking area. -The famous Awful Arthur's seafood restaurant and bar. Enjoy fresh seafood and an expansive bar menu just 2 blocks from the house. -Awful Arthur's general store. 2 blocks from the house for all of your generic needs. You need not go far to fill your coolers with ice. -The Avalon Fishing Pier and Arcade. Perfect for the whole family. This fishing pier offers arcade games for children, multiple pool tables for adults, and a family friendly fishing pier and bait shop. The fishing pier is good for a family outing for beginners, and offers sections in deep water for those looking for big game! -The Big Ten movie theater -Very close to Food Lion and Publix grocery stores and many local restaurants and gift shops. They are all a short bike ride or short drive away. Our central location ensures you never spend too much vacation time in the vehicle while gathering necessities!
