Welcome to the Chateau Royale! A totally renovated building in the heart of downtown overlooking the Bayou Teche. The Bayou Chateau is located next door to the Chateau Royale. We had to look at this empty run down building everyday. Our goal was to purchase and transform this space to an elegant rental for our guest to enjoy. This building was used as printing company, dentist office and Dental Lab, recording and practice studio, then went vacant and was not maintained for years until we came along. This property overlooks the Bayou Teche and is next to Bouligny Plaza, home of the Annual World Championship Gumbo Cook-off and the annual Sugarcane festival. It is also walking distance to the farmers market, food truck festival, nearby restaurants, shopping and night clubs. Bring your boat or kayak to cruise the bayou or fish right off the bank. The Chateau Royale comes with a full stainless steel kitchen, 2 queen size beds, 2 twin beds, 2 whirlpool tubs, cable tv, free wifi, hair dryer, coffee bar and much more. Pets are always welcome.
