With several outdoor dining and private lounging areas and decks, there is plenty of room throughout the property for guests and their friends to eat, chill and relax together or privately. Our cottage is very conveniently located on the Great South Bay and bay beach, a one minute walk to the ferry and small town (which has a convenience store, a food market, pizza and ice cream shops, & the doctor’s office), and a 3 minute walk to the ocean beach. The cottage is far enough away to maintain quiet and privacy. Summer on Fire Island is truly paradise. The ocean is warm, the weather is perfect, the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular, the fish are jumping, the surf is sensational, clamming, wind surfing, sailing and boating are exceptional activities, the summer residents are cool, and life is beautiful.. As you can see, I love it here and spend a lot of my time in this paradise. Fair Harbor is one of the friendliest, laid-back Fire Island communities, hosting the best restaurant and social sunset gatherings on the dock every evening.
