Drive through the gates to discover a stately and secluded sanctuary. Wine Crest was built in 1915. We have a sweet cozy guest house in a converted barn that is decked out and ready for your stay. Look out your kitchen window right into the hen house. NOTE: Wine Crest is not suitable for events. Wine Crest is a hidden treasure on the outskirts of Lodi. A long olive and palm tree lined lane separates the estate from the rest of the world. Driving down the lane feels like a time portal into another era. 1915. But don't be thinking we are stodgy and stuck in the past. Wine Crest lives in the present with a unique style. Part tradition, part whimsy, part classy, there is a surprise around every corner. Your rental includes exclusive use of the 1 bedroom self contained apartment in The Pool House. The pool house is situated behind the main house and is adjacent to ... the pool. It has a private entrance on the back side and shares 2 recreation rooms on the front side. These rooms are for billiards, dining, yoga, games, movies, puzzles, music etc. Guests are invited to enjoy the grounds, pool, spa and grill. If it's not in your kitchen it is in mine, just ask. Laundry is avail in the big house. Pool towels are under the bar in the rec room. We love hosting guests from all over the world and look forward to getting to know you during your stay. Your suite is private and in a separate building. We will greet each other as we are coming and going. We'd be delighted to share a glass of wine and a swim at the end of the day. Woodbridge and it's restaurants is a 2-3 minute drive. Downtown Lodi is a mere 7 minutes. The Lodi appellation boasts nearly 100 wineries. All within a 30 minute drive. There are 13 tasting rooms within walking distance of each other in downtown Lodi and many delicious restaurants. You'll need a car to get around. Limos and horse drawn carriages are available to rent for wine touring. Uber and Lyft are still rare in Lodi. There are a few but service is sporadic. The valley is as flat as it gets, if you are riders, bring your bikes. No dogs or other pets. Really, no dogs.
