"Pet Friendly" This is a "Hilltop" Cape Cod style 3 bedroom home with 1 1/2 bathrooms. It is cozy, clean, well furnished, with a huge big screen TV. Central Heating and air conditioning. The home is approximately 1500 sq. ft. Large private fenced in back yard for pets and relaxation. Conveniently located in Portsmouth. Minutes from Southern Ohio Medical Center, 5 minutes from Shawnee State University, nice residential neighborhood. You will love the media room with a HUGE TV and literally hundreds of DVD Film titles and surround sound! There are two matching recliners to settle in and have a cozy time :) My dad and I always joke around saying it's the BEST ROOM IN ANY HOUSE! :) Feel free to watch any of the films in our library as a courtesy to our guests! Enjoy exploring my home town of Portsmouth, Ohio AKA "P-town. Enjoy exploring the Boneyfiddle Historic District which is right along the Ohio River in downtown Portsmouth, Ohio. Take a walk along the famous floodwall murals which depict the history of the Portsmouth, enjoy a show at the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts on the campus of Shawnee State University or learn the history of the area at the Southern Ohio Museum and Cultural Center. You will love the "Market Street District" with shops downtown with several locally owned restaurants within walking distance. There are movie theaters and home cooking style national restaurants like Bob Evans and quick fast food grabs as well. Want to save money? Prepare your own recipes in our large kitchen at home and stay in to enjoy a peaceful evening in the media room at the house. There are 3 bedrooms total. Each one is locked with its' own key system for privacy. Guests can rent the entire home/property or each bedroom with sharing the common areas. :) Each stay/guest is different. My first host experience was to host an entire family. The next one was someone that only needed one room and wanted to share the house and common areas :) Our doggies made great new friends too! :) I'm very easy going, travel often and love hosting guests regardless of being on the road traveling myself of hosting guests while I am at the home :) The most important issue is that my guests are happy! Our neighborhood is referred to as "The Hilltop" of Portsmouth where there are great quiet peaceful established neighborhoods and charming homes with access to the best that our town has to offer. We are within 60 minute drive of both CVG (Cincinnati Airport) and CMH (Columbus John Glenn International Airport). Your neighbors include nurses, doctors and other health professional at the Southern Ohio Medical Center which is within a 15 minutes walk and 4 minute drive from the residence. We are located near the cul de sac with virtually no traffic other than the few people that live on our street. Want to have a lovely meal at one of "P-town's" best restaurants and see a movie, you are within a five minute drive. I'm confident that you will enjoy your home away from home with us :) We have two cars available if necessary and also offer airport pickup for an additional fee.
