CottageKat in Historic Downtown Farmersville

"CottageKat" is in the Historic DT area of town and right off the Chaparral Trail! Downtown has many events throughout the year such as the Farmersville Market, a monthly, 1st Saturday Farmers & Flea market from 9-3. Other events such as music events, the new "Fine Arts on Main" theater, an antique auto show & Audie Murphy Day are just some of the adventures that await! I'm a Big City Girl left to roam the countryside and you might like to do the same! I'd love to hear what brings you to town! You'll enjoy my beautiful Home with it's IKEA kitchen/hardwood floors throughout except for Master which is carpeted ( please remove shoes if possible ), loads of antique furniture, art and photography, books, a small deck out back looking onto the country garden - great for a place to sit and have breakfast with an abundance of Pecan trees and flowers , French Doors, gas range and ship lap walls! You will enjoy the Living, Dining/Kitchen, Master bedroom and bath and Hall bath next to Living room. The 2nd bedroom with single bed is just off the living area.The backyard and deck as well as front yard are all yours! Carport in front will hold one auto with another in driveway behind...Chest of drawers in bedrooms have empty drawers for your usage and are stocked with extra blankets as well. The bedrooms each have a white noise machine if you need one for better sleep at night. I will be in town or nearby if you need anything. As well, I have friendly and helpful neighbors if a problem arises. Please feel free to text if you have any questions at all! Historic Charm you can walk to downtown, with it’s antique brick streets and several new restaurants and lot's of antique shops. About 15 miles West of McKinney and to the east is Rockwall-Lake Ray Hubbard about 30 min away. Greenville is 11 miles east and an easy drive with no stop lights! Enjoy beautiful countryside surrounding the town and old time feel! The Stable and bar/restaurant in town, 12 Stories coffee shop and Over Yonder restaurants in the Historic DT as well as Bottles and Boards the new wine/food hangout. Hamburgers and home cooking are at Charlies near the high school on Hwy 78 as well as Jim's Pizza. Several other restaurants are along 380 such as Sonic and DQ. You can ride your bike on the paved trail, or walk to town or drive to any nearby cities for other adventures! Feel free to call or text when you arrive if you have any questions.
